Witchcraft? Man Woke up to Coffin with dead Snake, Cat outside the house.

On a shocking morning in Kapseret, Uasin Gishu County, Meshack Nyambati woke up to find a coffin right in front of his house.

According to Meshack, upon opening the coffin, he found a dead snake, an empty envelope, a dead cat, and the carcass of a squirrel.

Meshack reported the incident to Kiambaa Police Station, and the police accompanied him to the scene, carrying away the coffin and its contents for analysis.

Investigations are underway to determine the motive behind the strange discovery.

Under the Witchcraft Act, Chapter 67 Laws of Kenya, Article 3, anyone found guilty of witchcraft could face up to 10 years in prison.

As stated in the act, 'Any person professing a knowledge of so-called witchcraft or the use of charms, who advises any person applying to him how to bewitch or injure persons, animals or other property, or who supplies any person with an article purporting to be a means of witchcraft, shall be guilty of an offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years.'
