Safaricom PLC has found a unique way to celebrate world marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge - by temporarily changing the M-Pesa logo to his name.
According to Safaricom, the new logo will feature the five letters spelling Kipchoge's first name, 'Eliud', and the numbers '1:59' to denote the challenge.
The company has also confirmed that Kipchoge will be their ambassador for the next seven days.
On Wednesday, 9 October, Safaricom acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Michael Joseph said it was a great honor for Safaricom to be associated with the great man Eliud Kipchoge.
