As of October 9, 2019, the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has issued a notice to the owners of 584 vehicles, requiring them to verify their ownership within 14 days.
According to the notice, owners are required to present themselves at any NTSA motor vehicle inspection center, along with the necessary documents, including the original and copy of the Registration certificate (Logbook), importation documents, National Identification card, KRA PIN Certificate, and any other document that proves ownership.
Failure to comply with the notice will result in the deregistration of the vehicles without further reference to the owners, as stated in the notice.
NTSA has also ordered that no transaction be done with the vehicles until their ownership is verified.
Owners of the listed vehicles have until October 28, 2019, to present their vehicles for inspection, or risk having them deregistered.
