The KCB RFC Sevens, along with Shujaa and Morans, will represent Kenya at the upcoming Safari Sevens tournament, a three-day rugby extravaganza.

As the National Sevens Series Circuit champions, the Bankers will face stiff competition from defending champions Samurai, Spain, and Olympic bronze medalists South Africa.

Despite losing several key players to the national team, including Johnstone Olindi and Vincent Onyala, coach Dennis Mwanja remains optimistic about his team's chances.

"We have depth, and I still have players who can play in the Safari," Mwanja said. "The national team took our six players, but I still have players who were part of the sevens training squad who will step up."

The tournament will be played at the RFUEA ground, featuring teams from Zimbabwe, Uganda, Zambia, Russia, South Africa, and others.
