Published on October 9, 2019, Manchester United's search for a new manager has begun, with Massimilliano Allegri reportedly at the top of their list to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Allegri's impressive managerial record, which includes five Serie A titles and four Coppa Italia trophies during his five-year stint with Juventus, has caught the attention of United's hierarchy.
However, the Italian manager's time at Juventus was not without its challenges, as he suffered two Champions League final defeats to Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Manchester United's current struggles in the Premier League, including a dismal away record and a recent defeat to Newcastle, have put pressure on Solskjaer's position.
According to reports, Allegri is the preferred choice to take over at Old Trafford, should Solskjaer be sacked.
