Published on October 9, 2019, Spedag's struggle to avoid relegation in the Kenya Women Premier League (KWPL) intensified after a disappointing weekend.

Coach Serah Ogonyo's team suffered a 3-1 loss to Wadadia and a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Kayole Starlets at Stima Club in Nairobi.

Despite scoring the opening goal against Wadadia, Spedag's performance was marred by their inability to maintain a lead, ultimately falling to a 3-1 defeat.

Coach Ogonyo expressed hope that the remaining matches in the league would help the team turn their season around.

Wadadia's coach, Hassan Maloba, attributed their victory to a second-half resurgence, which allowed them to secure a win.

Spedag currently sits at the bottom of the league table with 12 points, while Nyuki Starlets and Kayole Starlets occupy positions 13 and 14 respectively.

The team's remaining fixtures include matches against Makolanders, Thika Queens, and Mathare United.
