Manchester United's search for a new manager has begun, with the club reportedly eyeing Julian Nagelsmann as a potential replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

According to a report, United have already started exploring the possibility of hiring Nagelsmann, who is currently the manager of RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

Nagelsmann, 32, has had a bright start to his managerial career, becoming the youngest manager in Bundesliga history when he took over at Hoffenheim at 28.

With Solskjaer under immense pressure after guiding United to one of their worst starts to a Premier League campaign in years, the club's chiefs may pull the trigger on him if Liverpool get the better of them after the international break.

United have picked just two wins in eight matches, leaving them 12th on the standings with nine points.
