Published on October 9, 2019, by Men's Health, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the writers behind Avengers: Endgame, have expressed interest in introducing a new character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In an interview with Shortlist, Markus revealed that they would like to explore the MCU version of Machine Man.

Machine Man, a robot created in 1977, first appeared in the comic '2001: A Space Odyssey #8.' The character, also known as Aaron Stack or Z2P45-9-X51, has superhuman strength, limb extension, flight, and durability. With a rich history in the Marvel universe, Machine Man has worked with various groups, including the Avengers, S.H.I.E.L.D., Nextwave, and A.R.M.O.R.

As CinemaBlend reports, Machine Man's addition to the MCU would not be out of place, given the character's connections to the Marvel universe. With the upcoming slate of Disney+ shows, there is ample opportunity for Machine Man to shine.
