On October 9, 2019, Kenyans on Twitter, popularly known as #KOT, took to the social networking site to create a series of hilarious memes in honor of world marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge.
As Kipchoge prepares to take part in the historic INEOS 1:59 challenge in Vienna, Austria, Kenyans couldn't resist merging photos of the athlete with those of beer looters from a recent incident where a beer truck overturned.
The images, created with the intention of passing a humorous message, suggest that the only person who can beat Kipchoge is a man fleeing after stealing beer.
The #INEOSChallenge also serves to motivate the world marathon record holder to run even faster during the INEOS 1:59 challenge.
