On August 1, 2019, Dr. Caesar Mwangi took over as the Chief Executive Officer of ICEA LION Insurance Holdings Limited, marking a significant milestone in the company's history.
Dr. Mwangi brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as a non-executive director on the boards of ICEA LION Life Assurance Company and ICEA LION General Insurance Company Limited.
His extensive background in leadership and management includes stints as Managing Director of the Centre for Personal Leadership (CPL Africa), MD Sasini PLC, and Africa Regional Director for the Global Village Energy Partnership (GVEP).
Dr. Mwangi holds a PhD in Organizational Performance and Change Management from the University of Johannesburg and an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand.
