Alcoholism, a severe form of alcohol abuse, can have devastating consequences if left untreated. According to medical professionals, it is also commonly referred to as alcohol use disorder, categorized into three levels: mild, moderate, and severe.

Former Churchill Show comedian Rapcha The Sayantist, a renowned standup comedian and recovering alcoholic, has spoken candidly about his struggles with alcoholism. In a heart-wrenching post on social media, he shared a photo of himself in a state of utter despair, with his children cleaning vomit from his mouth.

"My kids used to wipe vomit from my mouth... it was ugly, it was a bad life and I changed it... Stopped drinking for good and decided to focus on my body, food and my career... It's the best decision I ever made... I give thanks for life and everyone supporting me... 'Selah,"

he wrote on October 6, 2019, in a powerful message of hope and redemption.
