On Sunday evening, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) made a significant arrest in Kiambu County, apprehending five suspected fraudsters.
According to the DCI, the suspects were found in possession of more than 40,000 SIM cards, several mobile phones, three laptops, and a list of names and national ID numbers of different individuals.
The suspects, identified as Joseph Kuria, Joyce Kagure, George Maina, Evans Getabu, and Loise Wanjiku, were arrested in two separate locations: Jeremy Apartments in Juja town and Gwa Kairu area.
The five suspects will be arraigned in court once police conclude their investigations.
