Five Suspects Arrested in Juja with 40,000 Sim Cards and Electronics

On Sunday evening, a joint operation by law enforcement agencies led to the arrest of five suspected fraudsters in Juja Town and Gwa Kairu area in Kiambu County.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the suspects were found with over 40,000 sim cards, several mobile phones, and three laptops.

Four of the suspects - Joseph Kuria, Joyce Kagure, George Maina, and Evans Getabu - were apprehended inside a house at Jeremy Apartments in Juja town.

The fifth suspect, Loise Wanjiku, was arrested at Gwa Kairu area.

The suspects are currently in police custody pending the conclusion of investigations before arraignment.
