Man Charged for Shooting KFS Officer with Arrow in Narok

On October 4, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in Kipchoge area, Narok South, where a Kenya Forest Service (KFS) ranger, Victor Mwenda, was shot with an arrow.

Joel Kipyego, alias Chuck Norri, was subsequently arrested and arraigned before a Narok court on Monday, where he denied the charges of causing grievous bodily harm.

Chief Magistrate Wilbroda Juma ordered Kipyego's detention for three more days to allow the police to complete their investigation.

The case will be heard on November 1 this year.
