Kenya's war on SIM card scams has taken a significant turn with the arrest of five suspects in Juja on October 6, 2019.
According to the DCI Kenya, the suspects were found with over 40,000 SIM cards, computers, and a list of names and phone numbers.
Police have assured Kenyans that those found guilty of using SIM cards to scam others will face the full force of the law.
Scams involving SIM cards have been on the rise in Kenya, with many people losing thousands of shillings to fake messages or being called and convinced to part with their money.
