On Friday, a delivery truck crashed in Roysambu, Kenya, bringing an early Christmas gift to beer lovers in the area.

The truck's cargo of beer spilled onto the road, and nearby residents quickly took advantage of the situation, stripping the truck of its crates and calling on bystanders to join in.

As police officers arrived at the scene to assist the driver, they were met with a chaotic scene, with men and women stopping their cars to grab as much beer as they could.

Despite the commotion, no injuries were reported, and the police were eventually able to restore order by lobbing tear gas to prevent further looting.

Photos from the scene show residents loading beer into their pockets and even trading bottles with one another.
