Manchester United's Premier League season has gotten off to a dismal start, with the team recording just two wins and occupying 12th position on the table after eight games.
Goalkeeper David De Gea has described the current season as the most difficult in his career at Old Trafford, citing the team's inability to score goals as a major concern.
"It is not acceptable, not just this game but the whole season," De Gea told BBC after the team's defeat against Newcastle United on Sunday, October 6.
"It is the most difficult time since I have been here. I don't know what is happening. We cannot even score one goal in two games," he added.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer expressed disappointment over the defeat, but maintained that the players are working hard to improve their performance.
