Kenya Shines at IAAF 2019 World Championships in Doha

Kenya's athletes made a remarkable showing at the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar, securing 11 medals in total. The championships, held from September 27 to October 6, 2019, at the Khalifa International Stadium, saw Kenya's athletes excel in various events.

On October 6, 2019, Kenya's athletes concluded the championships with a total of 11 medals, including 5 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals. The athletes who won gold medals were Hellen Obiri, Timothy Cheruiyot, Conseslus Kipruto, Ruth Chepngetich, and Beatrice Chepkoech.

The silver medals were won by Faith Kipyegon and Margaret Chelimo, while the bronze medals were secured by Ferguson Rotich, Rhonex Kipruto, Amos Kipruto, and Agnes Jebet Tirop.
