Published on October 6, 2019, KCB secured a spot in the Main Cup final of the 2019 BLAZE Impala Floodlit tournament after beating Homeboyz 38-14 in the semi-finals played at the Impala Grounds on Saturday night.
Oscar Sorano scored the opening try in the fifth minute, while a second try from Rocky Aguko and a brilliant conversion from Asumba gave Curtis Olago's team an early lead that they held on to for the rest of the game.
Meanwhile, Menengai Oilers booked their first-ever ticket to the Cup finals by beating Kenya Harlequin 30-21 in the earlier semi-final match.
The Plate Finals will see hosts Impala Saracens take on Nondies, while the varsity category will feature UoN Mean machine against Strathmore University Leos in the finals.
All finals will be played on October 12 at the Impala Grounds.
