Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has announced the closure of two major city roads in Dagoretti for two weeks.

According to a public notice issued on October 6, 2019, Kingara and Naivasha roads will be closed for one week each.

"We wish to inform members of the public and motorists plying Kingara and Naivasha Road that the two roads will be closed for one week each," read part of the notice signed by KURA Director-General Silas M. Kinoti.

Kingara road will be closed from October 10 at 6 am to October 17 at 6 am, while Naivasha road will be closed from October 17 at 6 am to October 24 at 6 am.

The authority has urged the public to avoid the said roads and use alternative roads, as pedestrians and motorists will be barred from using the road to pave way for the relocation of services.
