Published on October 6, 2019, a man in Mwisho wa Lami, Kenya, had a dream of opening a state-of-the-art academy. However, his friends and family were skeptical, especially Fiolina, who laughed at his plans, saying he didn't know the people of Mwisho wa Lami.
"Madeni itakuuwa," she said, laughing sarcastically. She told him she had been to many places in the world but had never seen a place where people loved credit like Mwisho wa Lami. "And they don't pay," she added.
Despite the warnings, the man went ahead with his plans. He even invited a reverend to pray for the school, and the construction began. However, things took a turn when 15 students reported to school on Wednesday morning, and Fiolina took them to the man's home to clean the compound.
The man was left to deal with the situation, and he called in Sandra, Tito's wife, to help with the children. Sandra was excited to get busy and had many ideas to attract more pupils. However, their discussions were cut short when they started talking about salary, and Sandra demanded Sh16,000.
"Hii sio shule ya uma Dre," she said. "Hapa ni mtu anafanya kazi kama punda." The man was taken aback by her demand, and they decided to continue the salary discussions the next day.
However, things didn't go as planned, and only three students came with money the next day, each contributing Sh300. The man was left to deal with the situation, and he decided to call the school Dr Dre Day Care Preparatory Academy.
