Uhuru Kenyatta: Kenya's Unity is More Important than Jubilee's Victory

President Uhuru Kenyatta has emphasized the importance of Kenya's unity over Jubilee's victory, stating that the country's interests should take precedence over party interests.

Speaking at the funeral of Mzee Daniel Kasirimo Ole Muyaa in Kajiado on October 6, 2019, Kenyatta said that Kenya's interests are more important than Jubilee's victory, and that he has decided to join forces with Raila Odinga to ensure the country's unity.

"I want to unite Kenya, and I know I am a child of Jubilee and I love my party and I am proud of my party. But I also know I am a Kenyan and more than my party, I love my country and the people of the Republic of Kenya," Kenyatta said.

He added that he has decided to join forces with Raila Odinga to ensure the country's unity, and that he will continue to prioritize Kenya's interests over Jubilee's victory.

"We must do everything to ensure that we bring all communities together, and that no party in our country is against peace, development, and unity. And that is why I have said that even if I have disagreed with Raila, I am ready to sit with him because of the lives of Kenyans," Kenyatta said.

He also urged Kenyans to live in peace and unity, and to put aside their differences and work together for the country's development.

"Elections will come and go, but we, the people of the Republic of Kenya, have no business to go anywhere. We must learn to live together," Kenyatta said.

He also urged leaders to work together to ensure the country's development, and to put aside their differences and work for the common good.

Meanwhile, Deputy President William Ruto has been criticizing Raila Odinga, accusing him of trying to sabotage Jubilee's chances in the 2022 presidential election.

"This man of tricks is telling us how we will run Jubilee while his ODM is struggling. Kenyans deserve better than this," Ruto said on September 21, 2019, while on a tour of Embu County.

He also accused Raila of trying to sabotage Jubilee's chances in the election, and said that Jubilee was built on a solid foundation and would not be easily defeated.

"He is trying to sabotage Jubilee thinking that if he does so, he will win the presidency. I want to tell Jubilee that it was built on a solid foundation," Ruto said.
