Kenya's Deputy President William Ruto Leads Kenyans in Mourning Senator Boni Khalwale's Wife

Deputy President William Ruto has led Kenyans in mourning the death of Senator Boni Khalwale's wife, Adelaide, who passed away on October 5, 2019, due to complications related to a brain aneurysm.

According to Senator Khalwale, his wife was a devoted mother and a pillar of strength in his life. The couple had been married for 39 years.

Senator Khalwale has denied claims that his wife died of cancer, stating that she passed away due to complications related to a brain aneurysm.

Deputy President Ruto, in a tweet, expressed his condolences to Senator Khalwale and his family, describing Adelaide as a kind and gentle soul.

Other leaders, including Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula and Senator Cleophas Malala, have also sent their condolences to Senator Khalwale and his family.

Adelaide was a lecturer at the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.
