NTV has announced a change in hosts for its weekly reggae show, Jam Down Reggae Show, with DJ Moh Spice taking over from DJ Kriss Darlin.

According to NTV executives, the decision to replace DJ Kriss Darlin was made following his failed bid in the Kibra by-election, which was in line with the NMG policy requiring hosts to exit if they show interest in politics.

As reported earlier, DJ Kriss Darlin had co-hosted the show every Saturday after the 9pm news bulletin alongside Miss Katiwa, but his loss in the ODM party ticket primaries led to his exit.

Highly placed sources have revealed that DJ Moh Spice has been chosen as the new host of the reggae show, which will now be known as Jam Down Reggae Show, and will co-host the show with Miss Katiwa.

“Following DJ Kriss Darlin’s exit, we’ve settled on DJ Moh Spice as his suitable replacement but in a new show called Jam Down Reggae Show which he will co-host with Miss Katiwa who has been amazing so far,” a source who asked for anonymity revealed.

It is worth noting that DJ Moh Spice was arrested in August this year over an unlawful gun display at his friend DJ Kym Nickdee’s birthday party in Nairobi, but was later released without any criminal charges.
