On September 13, 2019, detectives discovered the body of Dutch billionaire Tob Cohen in an underground water storage tank at his Kitisuru home, nearly two months after he was reported missing.

According to the postmortem results released on Friday, a blow to the right side of the head was the cause of death.

As reported, the body was found in black, yellow, and red polythene bags, and had been preserved by refrigeration. However, parts of the body had already decomposed, with maggot-infestation and signs of severe injuries.

The postmortem examination revealed multiple rib injuries, bruises on the diaphragm, chest, arms, lower limbs, and the right foot, as well as the right side of the face and left earlobe.

Furthermore, the examination showed that Tob Cohen's hands were fractured, and his eyes had been blindfolded, with hands and feet bound with a rope at the neck.

Five pathologists conducted the tests, using finger and toenail DNA samples for the postmortem examination.

Tob Cohen was buried on September 24, 2019, at a Jewish Cemetery in Nairobi. His widow, Sarah Wairimu Kamotho, is a prime suspect in the murder case.
