On Saturday morning, detectives from Pangani Police Station arrested four individuals in connection with a daring robbery in Eastleigh, Nairobi. The incident occurred at Barwqo Lodge, located on Eighth Street, Second Avenue in Eastleigh.
According to police, the suspects, including three officers attached to Kayole Police Station, robbed two people of USD 60,000 (Sh6 million). The officers, identified as Wilson Cheruiyot, Daniel Kipkorir, and Alex Kandie, were found in possession of USD 35,200 (Sh3,520,000), three pistols, and 45 rounds of ammunition.
Police say the search for the two remaining suspects, who are believed to have the rest of the money, is ongoing.
