ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has been touring the country, making hard-hitting statements against the ruling Jubilee party and targeting his opponents in the 2022 presidential elections.

After being part of the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition, which was formed for the 2017 general elections, Mudavadi is now looking to be independent in the next general election.

As the strongest critic of the Jubilee administration, Mudavadi has been vocal about the government's external borrowing, which he claims has plunged the country into heavy debt.

He has also been critical of Deputy President William Ruto, questioning the source of his weekly church contributions, but has recently shifted his focus to Raila Odinga, the leader of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

Despite allegations that Mudavadi and Ruto might be partnering in the 2022 general polls, the ANC leader has denied these claims, insisting that they will be competitors in the 2022 battle for state house.
