DP Ruto Eulogizes Late Staff Member Anthony Kariuki

On Friday, October 4, 2019, Deputy President William Ruto paid his respects to his late staff member Anthony Kariuki, who was laid to rest at their family home in Kamulu, Machakos County.

Anthony Kariuki, a dedicated employee of the Deputy President's office, lost his life in a road crash on September 26, 2019, while heading home to Buruburu.

DP Ruto praised Kariuki as a bright young man who brought valuable insights to his team in the Communications Department.

"Anthony did his work with knowledge. He brought innovations wherever he worked. And any task he was given, you would know it would be done," Ruto said in a tribute.

The Deputy President also promised to support Kariuki's family, acknowledging his hard work and dedication to his job.

David Mugonyi, the Head of Communications at the Deputy President's office, also eulogized Kariuki, describing him as a diligent employee who always had valuable information to share.

"He was always available to help and share his knowledge on communication matters," Mugonyi said.
