Additionally, the body of a 36-year-old woman, Morgan Karimi, was found hanging in her house in Kianjuki Sub-location. Murilo said the woman's 11-year-old son arrived home to find his mother dangling from roof rafters.
The police are investigating the three incidents, and the bodies have been taken to the Embu Level Five Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary.
Area police boss Kere Murilo expressed concern over the rising cases of suicides in the county, advising residents to share their challenges with those who can assist them instead of taking their own lives.
