Akothee's Daughter Rue Baby Competes in Miss Universe Kenya 2019 ¶

Akothee's second-born daughter, Rue Baby, has been participating in the ongoing Miss Universe Kenya 2019 competition without her mother's knowledge. The mother of five, Akothee, only learned about her daughter's participation through a local newspaper.
According to Akothee, Rue Baby will 'kill' her with pressure one day, as she is like the wind that just struck Nairobi, and she doesn't know her anymore. Rue Baby responded to her mother's comment, stating that she was only intending to tell her when she makes it to the finals.
Akothee went on to talk about her work relationship with her daughter, saying that Rue Baby has her own life as a model and that she only encourages her. Akothee added that she has never attended any of her daughter's shows or made a call to any designer or event organizers for favors, as she wants to avoid any news of Rue Baby riding on her fame.
Rue Baby recently got featured on Africa's fashion magazine, Couture Africa. Akothee praised her children, saying they are most disciplined, with Rue Baby being the most disciplined. She wished her daughter well and concluded by saying, 'RueBaby from today fly fly fly my queen. Come back at 2am wake up Aunt to cook for you, call akotheesafaris for your holiday tickets and let them bill me, even when I am not around.'
