Kenya's Harambee Starlets safely landed in Accra on Tuesday ahead of their 2020 Olympics Qualifier third-round tie against Ghana.
The team has since held three training sessions in preparation for the match, which is scheduled for Friday, October 4, 2019, at 6:30 pm EAT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Starlets coach David Ouma expressed confidence in his team's ability to secure a positive result, citing their preparations and the players' motivation.
"We will try to contain them as much as possible, try to keep a clean sheet and hopefully get an away goal," Ouma said.
The winner of the tie on aggregate will proceed to the tournament's fourth qualifying round, where they will face either Zambia or Botswana. The fourth round winner will then proceed to the fifth and final qualifying round, with the winner automatically qualifying for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
