On October 4, 2019, celebrated journalist Hussein Mohamed bid farewell to Citizen TV, marking the end of a decade-long tenure.

According to his announcement on social media, Hussein has decided to take a break to concentrate on other matters, effective after October.

Media personalities, including KTN's Lindah Ogutu, have wished Hussein well in his future endeavors.

"All the best for the future Hussein. A great journalist who is more truthful than neutral!" Collins Ogutu tweeted.

"Nakutakia na kukuombea kila la heri likuandame katika Safari yako ndugu. Mungu akukunjulie njia zako." Ali Manzu wished Hussein.

"What a talent.. You will be missed Hussein. Keep exploring" Bernard Chitunga said.

"All the best my friend" Lindah Ogutu wished Hussein.

"Hussein Mohamed, see you in a better place. Sincerely speaking, you revolutionized Mainstream media In Kenya. We will for sure miss you. Wish you success in your endeavours. God bless." Mundir Abdirahman wrote.
