Isaac Promise had a storied career, playing for clubs like Trabzonspor, Manisaspor, and Al Ahli, among others, and earning three caps for the Super Eagles in 2009.
He also captained the Nigerian team that won the silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
