On Thursday, Bandari FC earned a crucial point from their one-all draw against Posta Rangers at the Mbaraki Grounds in Mombasa, moving them into third place in the Kenyan Premier League standings.

Posta Rangers took an early lead through Francis Nambute's header in the 21st minute, but Bandari FC leveled the score in added time of the first half when Osman Suleiman's own goal found the back of the net.

Despite piling pressure in the second half, Bandari FC were unable to find the winner, with Posta Rangers putting up a resilient display to thwart their chances of moving into the top spot.

Gor Mahia remained at the summit with nine points after a perfect start of three wins in three, with Western Stima and Bandari FC a point adrift on joint second.

Bandari FC will look to bounce back in their next Kenyan Premier League assignment against Sofapaka FC on Sunday at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
