On October 3, 2019, Kikuyu musician Samidoh made an impromptu visit to his former high school, Ol Joro Orok High School in Nyandarua county, where he met two students struggling with school fees.

Samidoh, whose real name is Samuel Muchoki, rose to fame three years ago and has since dominated Kikuyu music charts.

He revealed that he too had faced similar challenges at the school and was grateful for the support he received from the lab technician, who would provide him with lab paraffin for his night studies.

Samidoh has pledged to sponsor the full education of the two students, urging others to do the same and help needy cases achieve their dreams.

Meanwhile, top gospel artiste Guardian Angel is also giving back to the community by inspiring, mentoring, and growing talent among kids from different children's homes.

Angel, who was once a street boy himself, has taken up the responsibility of caring for the food needs of a children's home every month.

He believes that showcasing the talents of these kids can uplift them and provide them with a brighter future.
