Published on October 3, 2019, the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) has taken the precautionary measure of recalling batches of Sure lubricated condoms over quality concerns.

According to a letter from KEMSA's quality assurance manager, Dr. John Aduda, those affected are batch numbers 17DN754 and 17DN052, with expiry dates ranging from December 2021 to December 2022.

Consumers are advised to check the brand and dates on their wrappers to determine if they possess these potentially defective condoms.
