On October 3, 2019, the sleepy village of Kamahuha, Muranga, was shocked by a gruesome discovery. A man, later identified as Moses Wanyoike, had been brutally attacked by his friends, leaving him with severe injuries.
According to reports, Wanyoike had gone out drinking with two other men and had returned home, only to be invited back to their house. The three men were reportedly 'punch drunk' and unable to recall the events of the night.
Mickson Gitau, a witness, told Citizen TV, “The dude is called Moses Wanyoike, he was said, he woke up and found his privates missing when we brought him to hospital, we saw he has nothing even his balls and sections of his hands have been cut and it was said earlier reported that the perpetrator may have eaten some of his body parts.”
James Karanja, the MCA of Kamahuha, rushed Wanyoike to the hospital and reported the incident to the police. One of the three men involved was arrested, and the villagers are now searching for Wanyoike's missing body parts to ensure they are reattached.
