On October 3, 2019, Kenyan-based logistics firm Lori marked its entry into the Nigerian market, following a successful 10-month pilot period. The company partnered with prominent cargo companies such as Olam, Honeywell Flour Mills, and Flour Mills Nigeria.
The move is part of Lori's strategy to expand its presence across Africa, capitalizing on Nigeria's challenges of a congested port and a shortage of transport options.
Founded in Kenya in 2016, Lori aims to utilize technology to optimize logistics operations, providing real-time tracking and reducing inefficiencies in the supply chain.
The company has also established a presence in Rwanda, Uganda, and South Sudan.
