Published on October 3, 2019
Enlarged pores can be a nuisance, but there are several natural ways to shrink them. The size of your pores depends on factors like genetics, skin type, age, and exposure to the sun. They play a crucial role in allowing your skin to breathe and produce sebum to protect it.
However, when pores become enlarged, they can be unsightly. To reduce their appearance, try the following natural tips:
- Wash your face both morning and evening to remove dirt and excess oils that can clog your pores.
- Apply a mixture of cucumber and lemon juice to your face using a cotton ball. Leave it to dry, then cleanse your face with cold water and moisturize.
- Use banana peels to shrink large pores on your skin. Rub the inside part of the peel gently on your face before washing your face.
- Try an egg white mask by mixing egg whites with lemon juice and oats. Apply the paste on your face, leave it for 30 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
- Use papaya to cleanse your skin and unclog pores. Mash ripe papaya and apply it on your face. After 30 minutes, rinse your face.
- Use clay masks twice a week to remove excess oils on the skin and reduce the appearance of pores.
