The Tanzanian Government has clarified the citizenship status of Diamond Platnumz' children with Zari Hassan, stating that they are Tanzanian citizens.

According to Ally Mtanda, a ministry spokesman, Diamond's kids Tiffa Dangote and Prince Nillan are Tanzanian citizens, despite Zari's recent claims that they are South African.

Speaking to Wikienda newspaper, Mtanda explained that the children have the right to hold dual citizenship, as the law allows them to possess two passports.

"Zari said all her kids are South African, she is right because she lives there. With that said, her children become South African automatically," Mtanda stated.

However, Mtanda added that the children are also Tanzanians because their father is Tanzanian, and the law allows them to hold dual citizenship.

"In short, they have dual citizenship because the law allows them to have two passports at the same time," Mtanda explained.

The announcement comes just hours after Tanasha and Diamond announced the birth of their son.
