Chelsea's European campaign got back on track with a 2-1 win over Lille in a Group H Champions League clash at Stade Pierre-Mauroy on October 2, 2019.
Frank Lampard's side came into the match hoping to revive their continental dream after a 1-0 defeat to Valencia in their Group H opener at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea's Tammy Abraham scored the opening goal in the 22nd minute, prodding the ball into the net from close range after taking a touch.
However, Lille's Victor Osimhen equalised for the home side just 10 minutes later, nodding home from a corner.
But Chelsea restored their lead in the second half through Willian, who capitalised on Callum Hudson-Odoi's well-placed cross to make it 2-1 on his 300th appearance for the Blues.
The win fired Chelsea to second place in Group H, behind group leaders Ajax.
