On July 7, 2019, Ken Okoth, the former Kibra Member of Parliament, passed away, leaving behind a family with a secret. His widow, Monica Okoth, and his alleged lover, Anne Thumbi, have now come to an agreement regarding the DNA test results that revealed Okoth was the father of a male child.
According to Nairobi News, Monica Okoth and Anne Thumbi have signed off on the DNA test results, which confirmed that Okoth was the father of a male child born out of wedlock.
Okoth's widow had previously disputed the DNA test results, which were presented in court and revealed that Okoth, who passed away in July, was the father of a male child with Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Anne Thumbi.
Thumbi's lawyer, Danstan Omari, stated that the paternity dispute has been resolved, and that Thumbi will file a case in the High Court to seek custody and medical insurance for the child.
“The other issue is about the child's inheritance under the law of succession. We will go to court to seek the child's inheritance and medical insurance,” Omari said.
