On October 2, 2019, a devastating traffic accident occurred on the Nairobi-Kangundo highway near Kamulu shopping center.
A Probox car collided head-on with a KBS minibus, resulting in the deaths of four people.
According to a police incident report, the Probox driver attempted to overtake another vehicle but collided with the minibus, which was traveling from the opposite direction.
Three occupants in the Probox died on the spot, and the driver of the KBS vehicle succumbed to injuries.
The wreckage of the two vehicles was towed to Kamulu police station, and the bodies of the deceased were removed to the City mortuary.
