On October 2, 2019, Citizen TV announced the cancellation of Machachari, a popular children's show that had been on the air for 13 years.
The show, which aired every Friday at 7:30pm, was criticized for featuring characters who had outgrown the show's target audience.
According to Baha, one of the show's pioneer actors, the news of the cancellation was difficult to accept.
'To be honest, inauma [it hurts]. Lakini we shouldn’t be sad because it’s over…but celebrate juu ilihappen,' Baha said in a Q&A session with fans on Instagram.
When asked about the qualities required to become a great actor, Baha shared his insights:
'No particular set of qualities required…Just learn how to perform all seven human emotions and being able to recreate the same emotion severally and not only on impulse but planned.'
