October 2, 2019, marked a significant milestone for Kenyan DJ Martin Owaka, popularly known as DJ Demakufu, as he welcomed a new addition to his family.
For years, DJ Demakufu was a mystery to the public, only known through his viral mixtapes that played in public service vehicles. It took three years for the public to finally see his face.
Born in Dandora, the mixmaster, who initially went by the name DJ Firstborn, has mastered the art of staying out of the spotlight. His fans were surprised by the news, and he kept the details private, only sharing a picture of the baby on Instagram.
He captioned the post, “Another new error[sic] of demakufu entertainment. Meet my new bundle of joy.”
