Tottenham Hotspur's Champions League campaign took a devastating turn on October 1, 2019, as they suffered a 7-2 defeat to Bayern Munich at home.
The London side had been hoping to build on their momentum after a crucial win over Southampton at the weekend, but their chances of reaching the knock-outs now hang in the balance.
Bayern Munich's Serge Gnabry was in fine form, scoring four times in the second half to render goals by Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane pointless.
Heung-Min opened the scoring inside 12 minutes, but Joshua Kimmich equalised for the visitors three minutes later.
Robert Lewandowski made it 2-1 for Bayern moments before the break, and Gnabry got his name on the scoresheet in the 53rd minute.
The former Arsenal star extended the lead just two minutes later, with Harry Kane pulling one back for Spurs from the penalty spot in the 61st minute.
However, Gnabry found the back of the net two more times, as Lewandowski completed his brace on the night.
Spurs now sit third on Group B with a point but superior on goal difference against Olympiacos who sit bottom after a 3-1 demolition against Red Star.
