Kenya Breweries Limited has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of Hop House 13, a premium lager, in Nairobi on September 27th, 2019. This new variant is set to be rolled out across the country later in the year.
Available in Europe, Kenya is the first African market to launch Hop House 13, a flavorful lager that combines tradition and novelty. The beer's unique blend of depth of flavor and crisp lager refreshment makes it perfect for casual social occasions.
Speaking at the launch, Nduku Wamakau, Marketing Manager for Guinness at Kenya Breweries Limited, said, “This variant will launch with an experiential event that will tap into all senses of our consumers, allowing them to experience the excitement about this new lager from Guinness.”
Hop House 13 is created in Dublin and brewed locally in Kenya, using Guinness yeast and locally sourced malt and hops. The beer is double hopped for more taste and has a distinctive full flavor, bursting with zingy hoppiness and balanced with a malty finish.
With a sweet fruity aroma, hints of apricot and peach, and subtle malt notes, Hop House 13 is a full-flavored lager that is both crisp and hoppy, yet not bitter, with a refreshing clean finish.
