On October 1, 2019, Kenyan WallStreet launched Wallstreet Mtaani, a Financial Literacy Program designed to enhance financial knowledge among the general public.

The program's core objective is to bridge the financial literacy gap that has hindered economic growth and development in many African economies for generations.

Wallstreet Mtaani achieves this by going into the streets to ask ordinary people 'general knowledge' finance questions in an informal, fun, and interactive way.

Selected topics are simple and engaging, with a simple explanation provided after the interviews.

The program encourages viewers to challenge themselves by sharing their feedback on social media and comparing it to the correct answers.
