After months of speculation, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, a global superstar and eight-time WWE champion, has confirmed his return to the WWE on October 4.

Johnson, who has been absent from the WWE for several years, made the announcement on his Twitter account, stating that he would be returning to the WWE Smackdown, which will be broadcast on Fox for the first time.

Johnson's last match in the WWE was against Erick Rowan, which he lost in just six seconds.

His return to the WWE marks a significant moment for the wrestling promotion, which has been working to revamp its brand and attract new fans.

Johnson's return is expected to be a major draw for the WWE, with fans eagerly anticipating his return to the ring.

"Hatimaye narejea nyumbani kwangu @WWE. Ijumaa hii usiku kwa kipindi cha kwanza cha SMACKDOWN!" Johnson tweeted.

"Hakuna jambo la maana kama kuwa mtu wa watu. Na hakuna pahala pazuri kama nyumbani. Tukutane baada ya shoo," he added.
