On October 1, 2019, Glovo, a Spanish on-demand courier service, officially launched its service in Mombasa, Kenya, marking a significant expansion of its African operations.

The company, which has already partnered with over 150 brands and franchises, including Carrefour and Naivas, aims to provide on-demand deliveries of food, groceries, drinks, and courier services to Mombasa residents.

With its existing partnerships in Nairobi, Kitengela, and Nakuru, Glovo is now operational in several major towns in Kenya.

As part of its expansion plans, Glovo operates in Kenya, Morocco, Egypt, and Ivory Coast, with plans to expand to Ghana, Nigeria, and Tanzania in the near future.

Glovo's mobile app enables customers to purchase, pick up, and deliver products ordered through the platform.
